What This Is

Some builders work in public
before anyone is watching.

Amplification is ECCO's surface category for editorial amplifications of independent third-party builders. It is a registry, an incubation room, and a launch pad — a place to put attention and timestamped provenance on work that is already happening, before institutional recognition arrives.

The premise is simple. Most worthwhile work is done quietly, at the margins, by people who do not have a press team. The signal does not always come back. This surface exists to be one of the places it does — and to keep attribution intact when it does.

The architecture, the research, the framework — in the subject's own design register. ECCO's editorial commentary layered around it; the underlying work itself remains the originator's. The deepest visit.

Bonded Science

Zero heat. Zero water. Total rethink.

A pre-entropy field architecture for data-center infrastructure that proposes intercepting thermal cascade before it propagates — zero thermal output at the chip level, no water cycle required. Filed as U.S. Patent Application US19438644 with five timestamped publications on Zenodo (CERN-hosted open-access repository). The work is documented in public, on record, before institutions asked. ECCO builds and hosts Derek's Tier III surface under a service arrangement with him, and amplifies the work here with his consent — a named collaboration, attribution preserved. Permission to use the underlying materials comes from Derek directly.

Amplification Posture · Surface-Level

Each subject on this surface carries its own posture. Some amplifications are unsolicited editorial commentary, with the originator's right of refusal explicitly preserved. Others may be invited collaborations, archive entries by mutual agreement, or memorials. The posture for any given subject is named on that subject's page. The surface itself is governed by a single principle: provenance stays with the originator. ECCO contributes the framing; the originator owns the work.
